The Polish document (seventh position on the list) enables visa -free entry to 185 countries. Australia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Malta passports also give the same possibilities.
The Polish passport is systematically climbing in the rankings. Before a decade, he offered a visa -free entry to 114 countries, which gave him the ninth place in the world. In 2010, Poland reached the tenth place for the first time.
On the other hand, the American passport is weakening – emphasized the CBS News portal – it guarantees entry without visas to 182 countries. At the moment he is in 10th place in the ranking, along with Iceland and Lithuania. His position was the strongest in 2014, when he was considered the best such document in the world, but since then it has been systematically falling.
The creators of the report assess that the passport is no longer only a travel document, but a certificate reflecting the strength of diplomatic influence and international relations of a given country. (PAP)
