Trump again stated that since the beginning of his second presidential term allegedly completed the seven wars, and some of them, according to him, lasted more than 30 years.
At the same time, Trump once again noted that he “perfectly got along with the illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“But it looks like every time I think that we [с Путиным] They are close, he takes and drops another bomb on someone, and it is simply not good, it's bad. I am very surprised. Honestly, I'm very surprised. I thought it would be the easiest case – Russia and Ukraine. I said: “This question will be quite fast,” but it is complicated. Between him and [президентом Украины Владимиром] Zelensky, as you know, is a lot of hatred, a lot of hostility. And a lot, a lot of blood was shed, ”the head of the White House added.
Trump also stated that in the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine every week “dies from 5 to 7 thousand people.”
Context
After meeting with Putin in Alaska, as well as with Zelensky and European leaders in Washington, Trump announced the need to meet Putin and Zelensky. After that, the Kremlin put forward the conditions, the media note that Moscow can delay or evade negotiations.
At a press conference, Putin, following a visit to China, said on September 3 that he allegedly did not see the point in meeting Zelensky, but did not reject it. He said: “If Zelensky is ready, let him come to Moscow, such a meeting will take place.” The President of Ukraine in response invited Putin to come to Kyiv.
On the night of September 7, Russia inflicted a massive blow to Ukraine, including Kyiv, as a result of which people died. For the first time since the beginning of the war, the Russians got through the Cabinet building. According to the air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia launched a record for the entire time of the war, the number of air defense air means – 818. The defense forces destroyed or suppressed 751 targets.
On the same day, Trump said that he was ready for the second stage of sanctions against Russia.
