At night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by Russian drones. According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, objects that could be a threat were shot down. Currently, the location and protection of places where their fragments could fall.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk remains in constant contact with President Karol Nawrocki, head of the Ministry of National Defense and representatives of NATO. At 8.00 an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers was convened. In parallel at the National Security Office, a briefing will take place with the participation of the president and prime minister.
Kosiniak-Kamysz interrupted a visit to London, where he planned to participate in the meeting of the Ministers of Defense of the E5 groups, and returned to the country earlier.
Services subordinate to the Ministry of Interior and Administration – Police, Border Guard and State Fire Service – conduct activities related to the neutralization of facilities. An alarm was announced for police units in the Podlasie, Lublin, Podkarpackie and Mazowieckie garrisons. The forces of the National Rescue and Firefighting System in eastern Poland were put in a state of readiness.

The operational command of the types of armed forces said that the military operation was still going on and appealed to the residents to stay at home. The most endangered regions are Podlasie, Masovian and Lublin voivodships.

The general staff of the Polish Army warned that if the remains of drones were found, not to approach them, not touch them or move them. Each find should be immediately reported to the 112 emergency number or to the nearest police unit.
“At 5.40 in the town of Czosnówka (Bialski poviat) policemen confirmed the finding of a damaged drone. We informed the relevant services. Actions are underway” – wrote the Lublin police on Platform X.
