Closing the border with Belarus. Why?
The ministry explains that such actions are aimed at “Sending a clear signal about readiness to take radical actions in the context of deteriorating safety at the border“.
The ministry drew attention to the threats associated with the extension of military maneuvers “ZAPAD-2025”. The final decisions to re -open border crossings will depend on the end of these exercises.

During the “Zapad” maneuvers, lasting from 12 to 16 September, according to Polish estimates, 13,000 will participate. soldiers in Belarus. German General Carsten Breuer added that in Russia the number of participants can reach 30,000.
