His words were a reaction to the entry by Marcin Przydacz, head of the presidential Office of International Policy, who informed that President Nawrocki had decided to shorten his visit to Hungary only to participate in the summit of the Visegrad Group presidents in Esztergom. This decision was made in context Friday's visit of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to Moscow, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As Przydacz emphasized, President Karol Nawrocki “consistently supports finding real ways to end the war in Ukraine caused by the Russian Federation”.
As part of the shortened program, the Polish leader will take part in talks of the Visegrad Group with the presidents of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, focusing on security issues and cooperation in the Central European region.
Karol Nawrocki will not meet with Viktor Orban. The reason was his visit to Moscow
The original plan of the visit assumed a two-day stay in Hungary: participation in the Visegrad Group summit in Esztergom on Wednesday and an official visit to Budapest on Thursday. In the capital of Hungary, Nawrocki was to meet with President Tamas Sulyok and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. After modifying the program, some of the official talks in Budapest were canceled.
The Polish president's decision was accepted in Kiev as a clear signal of community and Warsaw's consistent attitude towards Moscow's actions. In the opinion of the Ukrainian authorities, such gestures are particularly important in a situation when key partners in the region have to face attempts at division and pressure from the Kremlin.
