Ukrainian cyber attack strikes Russian fuel and telecommunications networks. Losses calculated in millions


According to Hur sources, the attack began with a mass DDOS to the network elements responsible for non -cash payments for fuel – including ROSPETROL card support. The Advanced Payment Systems platform hit the list of goals, a also servers belonging to rostecom and Łukoil, which in practice was to prevent transaction authorization at many points of sale. The operation was performed symbolically on the eve of the Military Intelligence Day of Ukraine.
On the same day, Ukrainian cybernetic teams attacked the K-Corp telecommunications operator. Over 700 switches and 13 servers in two data centers are turned offwhich stopped the company's operations. Hur indicates that K-Corp was a purpose because of the provision of services for the Kalashnikov concern. The operator's website was identified as C-Corp.pro.
Russian platforms hacked
As part of a broader campaign, dozens of Russian platforms were also hacked, on the main sides of which there were messages referring to the festival of Ukrainian intelligence. Ukrainian media, citing sources in Hur, emphasize that similar operations will continue against companies supporting Russian war effort.

According to Amazon, the attackers compromised legal pages and redirected about 10 percent. Visitors to the domains impersonating cloudflare verification pages, trying to extort authorization in the Microsoft Device Code. Amazon, in cooperation with partners, blocked the attack infrastructure. There were no violations of systems.
The scale and selection of goals suggest strategic thinking on the side of Kiev. Attacks on fuel payments hit logistics and mobility, and the exclusion of the operator providing services to the arms giant has both practical and symbolic dimensions.
