The Ukrainian drones hit the roof of the training center at the Zaporojie nuclear power plant, without causing major damage and without increasing the level of radiation, the administration installed by Moscow at the Ukrainian power plant on Saturday, according to Reuters.
The attack took place about 300 meters from the unit of a reactor, supports the administration in a statement published on the Telegram Messenger application.
“This center is unique – it hosts the only real -scale simulator of a reactor room in the world, which is extremely important for staff training,” the statement said.
The nuclear power plant, which has six reactors and is the largest in Europe, does not work, but still needs energy to maintain its cold nuclear fuel.
“The operational safety limits have not been violated, and the radiation levels remain normal,” said the administration installed by Moscow.
Ukraine did not comment on the situation at the moment, and Reuters said that he could not check the statements of the Russian party in an independent way.
The Russian forces occupied the Zaporojie central in the first weeks of the invasion in Ukraine in February 2022. The two camps are constantly accused of one of actions that could trigger a nuclear accident.

“There were no victims. Fire and rescue teams, as well as special and emergency services work on the spot. The refinery staff has been evacuated to shelters,” the statement said.
