At Zamość (Lubelskie Voivodeship) a drone “did not have any military features” – the press spokesman of the Ministry of Defense announced PAP Janusz Sejmej on Saturday. He added that it is probably a smuggling drone.
Spokesman for the Lublin police sub -inspector Andrzej Fijołek informed PAP that on Saturday at 17.40 Tomaszowska Police received a notification via the Emergency Notification Center regarding the finding of the remains of an unidentified facility in Majdan-Sielec (Krynice commune).
– Nobody was hurt. The police secured the area. All competent services were notified, including the army – he added.
According to unofficial findings, the object fell on the field, about 500 meters from the buildings.
The town is located about 50 km from the border with Ukraine.
