Every tenth surveyed Pole declared that this year he decided to work abroad – according to the August “Barometer of the Polish Labor Market”. The main motivation was, among others higher earnings or lack of professional perspectives at the place of residence.

“Although the remuneration for seasonal work abroad still remain higher than in Poland, taking into account the cost of living and transport, this advantage has significantly decreased. PLN gross, i.e. for them net, they can reach similar income in the country. Therefore, seasonal holiday classes abroad, they start to lose a bit, though A group of those for whom this is a permanent element in the annual calendar of work, “emphasized Krzysztof Inglot from Personnel Service, quoted in the publication.
