A Tunisian, who had two knives and a rang, died shot by the police in the city of Marseille, in the south of France, after stabbing five people in a hotel, including the manager and his son, the local prosecutor Nicolas Besone and the Police announced on Tuesday, Reuters reports, according to News.ro.
One of the people stabbed in the hotel in Marseille is in critical condition.
Besso prosecutor told reporters that the attacker, a legal immigrant, had been evacuated from the hotel for non -payment of the rent.
The incident took place at local time 14:45 (15:45, Romania time) in the first arrondisment of the city of Marseille.
The attacker was “known as unstable,” a source close to the case told Le Figaro. However, he was not under psychiatric care.
