However, it is job offers abroad that attract the most attention. For example, a German company looking for welders using the MAG method offers a salary of 17–22 thousand. PLN gross per month. Requirements? Knowledge of German or English, current welding certificates and the ability to work in accordance with technical documentation and quality standards.

Bartłomiej Urbański from Pracuj.pl notes that in the category of manual workers there are not only people performing routine tasks, but also high -class specialists, and even “artists in their profession”.

Differences in welders earnings mainly result from the level of experience and the techniques used. Specialists using the TIG method, requiring greater precision, usually earn more than those who use MIG/MAG methods. Higher salaries are also offered to welders working in difficult conditions, e.g. in energy, shipbuilding or during underwater projects.
