North Korean leader Kim Jong crossed the border with China with his special train on the morning of September 2 to participate in the celebration of China of Japan's official capitulation in World War II, the North Korean press, quoted by Korea Times, announced.
He left Phenian to China on September 1 and passed in China on the morning of September 2, reported the North Korean state newspaper Rodong Sinmun.
North Korea chief is expected to arrive in Beijing on the morning of September 2.
The Yonhap South Korean News Agency said on September 1 that Kim left Phenian by train to participate in the China military parade, citing an anonymous source familiar with North Korean problems.
Rodong Sinmun showed pictures with Kim Jong a next to Choe Son Hui Foreign Minister, smiling from inside the special dark green train, which seemed similar to the armored train he used to travel to other countries such as China and Russia.
