President Nicușor Dan was asked on Thursday, in Copenhagen, about how Romania will respond to the drones that violate its air space, in the context of drone incidents in the last weeks of Europe.

The president was present on Thursday in Denmark, where he participated in the meeting of the European Political Community. After the meeting, Nicușor Dan said that there were discussions about European security, hybrid, physical threats, but also about drones.
On September 13, Romania was on the verge of breaking a Russian drone that entered its air space, according to the statements made regarding this incident by the Minister of Defense, Ionuţ Mărieanu. The drone intercepted by F-16 aircraft has changed its flight direction to Ukraine.
In an interview with Euronews Romania after the drone incident in our country, Nicușor Dan was asked: “If a drone enters the national airspace,” to expect to break it? “. He replied: “Yes.
