Four people, two of them with burns on about 20% of the body surface, were injured following a fire that broke out on Monday at a woodworking factory in Sebeş, the Emergency Department said.
The fire broke out on Monday morning, following an explosion produced at the wood processing factory in Sebeș. ISU Alba has announced that the red intervention plan has been activated.
At the scene of the event were allocated 5 extinguishing machines, 1 autoscare, 1 SMURD ambulance, 1 special vehicle transport, 2 SAJ ambulances and a SMURD helicopter. In support were sent 1 CBRN crew from ISU Sibiu, respectively the special vehicle for transport from ISU Mureș.

So far, four conscious victims have been identified, DSU said.
What is the state of the victims
The Ministry of Health has announced that two of the four injured people have suffered grade II/III burns and receive medical care. SMURD helicopters were mobilized for their transport to their hospital.
The ministry also announced that it has identified two places available for patients with burns, one at the “Bagdasar-Arseni” Hospital in Bucharest and the second, at the Iași County Emergency Hospital.
