India has now offered a reduction in their duties to zero, but they should have been done years ago – US President Donald Trump said on Monday, referring to talks on the trade agreement with India. He again expressed dissatisfaction with the buying of oil and weapons from Russia.

In the Truth Social Entry posted on his own social platform, the president once again drew attention to unevenness in commercial relations with India, the previous high barriers for imports from the USA and the fact that India was buying most military equipment and oil in Russia.
“It was a completely unilateral disaster! In addition, India buy most of oil and military products from Russia, and very little from the United States. Now they offered to lower their duties to zero, but it gets late. They should have done it years ago. These are just a few simple facts to think about !!!” Trump concluded.
Trump's words fell a day after the meeting of India Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the leaders of Russia and China in the lobby of the Shanghai Society of the Cooperation Organization in Tiencin. Last Wednesday, however, doubled, 50 percent. American duties on goods from India, which Trump imposed in connection with the buying of Russian oil and military equipment by Delhi.
Although in April Vice President Vance announced that he had agreed the Frame of the Trade Agreement with India, so far such a contract was not concluded, which is why India is one of the few large economies who have no agreement with the USA. Almost all countries that concluded such agreements have not only committed to lowering most of the US to zero goods, but also to multi -billion investments and purchases of American raw materials, weapons or agricultural products.
Critics of introducing higher duties on products from India say that this movement undermines Washington's efforts conducted for many years to cultivate relations with Delhi as a counterweight to Beijing. India was also one of the industrial production centers alternative to American and international companies.
