Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz responds to President Karol Nawrocki. Questions were asked about three acts
“Dear Mr. President, thank you for supporting the Poland 2050 project to raise the second tax threshold – it is a good solution for people and Polish families. That's up to 4,000. PLN in real terms in citizens' wallets. #Program4000 plus“- she wrote, reacting to the president's entry.
The minister also emphasized that her group is guided by the principle of “responsible fiscalism” and therefore only presents economically justified projects.
Later in the entry, Pełczyńska-Nałęcz addressed the president directly a question about the readiness to sign three draft laws regarding public finances.
The first concerns changes in excise duty on alcoholwhich – according to the minister – would increase budget revenues and at the same time be allocated to health care.
The second project relates to family foundations and their taxation. As she indicated, the goal is to tighten the system so that – as she argued – all participants of economic life “take co-responsibility for the army, schools and hospitals.”

The third proposal concerns a tax on the activities of the largest technology companiesthe so-called big tech, modeled on solutions used, among others, in France, Spain and Italy.
In her entry, the minister also referred to the economic policies of other European countries, pointing to Italy as an example of an effective model for building fiscal sovereignty.
