The prosecutor’s office said that when the military returned home, he found that there was neither at home, nor even personal things, including family photos and awards.
“The chairman of the prosecutors of the Vinnitsa region and the office of the Prosecutor General personally intervene. The searches began, and the criminal proceedings are re -qualified. The law enforcement agencies will not stand aside – the state protects those who fought for us,” the report said.
HromadSke published an article about military Mikhail Savchuk, who, protecting Ukraine, received a difficult wound at the front. When the defender returned home to the Vinnitsa region, he found out that his house was demolished, and scammers sold the land several times.
“I would like to get angry and cry. They took the last one from me. Things, rags are. But my memory: photos of the relatives that I once had, mothers and dads, little to me, some grandfather’s rewards, a portrait of my mother-there is nothing more. Perhaps it will be found if the police can,” said the military.
He clarified that after the loss of his parents, he decided to go to the front, although he had a “white ticket”, which testified to his unsuitability for military service for health reasons.
In 2024 he was mobilized, and already in November, on his birthday, he was injured in the Kurakhov direction. “Both legs and pelvis were injured, the fragments are still in the body. Rehabilitation ended two months ago. Only recently was able to walk without crutches …” – the military noted. He says that then he learned about the sale of his house by unknown. This happened by chance when, during a visit home, a neighbor informed him of an announcement on a site, which he later found himself. It contained a photo of the site in winter (at the time when the military was at the front) and the price of $ 42 thousand. Local journalist Ekaterina Gufeld informed that the Savchuk estate is located in the Pirovo microdistrict, which is considered wealthy. According to her, modern houses in such plots cost up to $ 150 thousand. His mother bought the land 20 years ago, the building was erected from scratch, the second floor was planned.
Savchuk turned to the cadastral bureau, received a certificate of sale and sale with which he went to the police. But, according to him, law enforcement officers did not want to take a statement, called the case civilian. Only on June 13, criminal proceedings were opened under the article “Falsification of documents”. The court arrested the plot, but by the time the regulation was recruited, a bulldozer entered the territory. Unknown people explained to the neighbors that the veteran “bought a Townhouse”. HromadSke emphasized that this was not true.
The lawyer found out that the contract of sale was allegedly issued in 2007, when Savchuk's mother lost his passport. At that time, Savchuk was a minor, and there is no participation of the Board of Trustees in the documents. The notary, which had already appeared on business with fake documents, was envious of the agreement. Now she is no longer alive.
“And the most absurd – in 2024 this old” agreement “is suddenly recorded – after 17 years,” the media notes.
After the death of his mother in 2016, Savchuk expired the acceptance of the inheritance. But, according to the lawyer, during the life of his mother he lived with her and led a common household, which is documented.
Journalists emphasized that after publicly, the prosecutors re -qualified the case under the articles “Fraud” and “Theft”, which include up to eight years of imprisonment.
On August 26, the veteran met with the head of the Vinnitsa regional prosecutor's office Oleg Tkalenko, who headed the group of prosecutors in this case.
“The office of the Prosecutor General also learned about this case. We have already conducted five searches from developers and related people. We received some information that we will check. I think this will give us a specific line of movement to declare suspicions,” Tkalenko assured journalists. He also apologized to Savchuk, noting that in this case there should not be at the beginning of the qualification only under the article “Falsification of documents”.
The veteran himself, despite the desire to return to the previous service, is unlikely to be able to do this for health reasons. Therefore, it plans to arrange disability and serve in the rear parts.
“Having come to the investigators in Vinnitsa from the unit, I have nowhere to be now. I’m renting an apartment now, I’m jamming the money. How much is I enough? I don’t have a large salary. I have been withdrawn into freelance, they pay about 500 UAH. It happens that I can’t stand it …” the military emphasized.
He believes that his case is not alone, so he calls for scribes to check his property.
“I think I’m not the only one. Many are now the military who are also fighting now and may also not know that their property, like mine, may not be them anymore. I urge our guys to check their property and it is now on,” Savchuk summarizes.
