In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a pensioner decided to burn the grass during cleaning and will now pay a fine.
The police said that a few days ago a message from the village of Kurganchiki was received to the police of the Kuraginsky district. Locals said that their elderly neighbor burns dry grass near the house.
“The district police officer who arrived at the place established that the 62-year-old man was cleaned in the yard. He gathered dry grass in heaps and, despite the windy weather, set them on fire. Fortunately, the neighbors saw it. They prevented the spread of fire, flooding the grass with water, ”the press service said.
The help of firefighters in this case was not needed, the fire was extinguished on their own.
In relation to the offender, the police were collected and transferred to the material to the bodies of state fire supervision for bringing to administrative responsibility under Art. 20.4 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of fire safety requirements.” He may face an administrative fine of 5 to 15 thousand rubles.
