The National Meteorological Administration has published the forecast for the next four weeks. According to meteorologists, September will start with higher temperatures than specific for this period, especially in the south of the country.

Week 01.09.2025 – 08.09.2025

The thermal values ​​will be higher than the specific ones for this week throughout Romania, but especially in the southern regions.

The pluviometric regime will be located around the normal one for this interval, at the level of the whole country.

Week 08.09.2025 – 15.09.2025

The average temperatures will be slightly higher than the specific ones for this period, in the southern regions, and the rest will be generally close to the normal ones.

The amounts of precipitation will be easily surplus, locally, in the central and northeast regions, and the rest will be close to the normal ones.

Week 15.09.2025 – 22.09.2025

The average air temperature will have values ​​close to the normal ones for this interval, at the level of the whole country.

The pluviometric regime will be easily surplus in the mountain and local areas, and the rest will be generally close to the normal one for this period.

Week 22.09.2025 – 29.09.2025

The environments of the thermal values ​​will be close to the specific ones for this week, throughout the territory of Romania.

The amounts of precipitation will be close to the normal ones for this interval, throughout the country.

Meteorological estimates for four weeks are made by the European Center for Average Places. The weekly average of air temperature deviations and precipitation amounts to the average of the period 2005-2024 is estimated. Extreme phenomena with a short period of manifestation cannot be forecast with this product, ANM says.
