According to the PAP source, the agreement provides that the rights of partners in Osge, in which Orlen and Synthos Green Energy have after half of the shares. The rotation of the president and head of the supervisory board will be introduced every three years. Currently, the president indicates Synthos, and the head of the Orlen council, in three years will become the opposite – the president will indicate Orlen and the head of the Synthos Council. According to PAP, there are also records in the agreement regulating the situation when one of the partners would like to sell their shares.

A license agreement was also concluded, giving Osge full access to the technology of BWRX-300 reactor, to which the owner of Synthos Michał Sołowow had exclusive exclusive rectality.

In addition, both sides have determined that the first reactor is to be built in Włocławek, in the location belonging to Orlen, and the targeted company appointed to its construction will be controlled by Orlen – the Płock concern is to have most of the shares in it. Another one would be built in the location next to Synthos in Stawy Monowskie and there the situation in a targeted company will be the opposite.

Osge plans to build a entire GE Vernova-Hitachi BWRX-300 reactor fleet in Poland. The first indicated locations in Poland are Ponds Monowskie near Oświęcim, Włocławek and Ostrołęka. The proceedings for issuing environmental decisions are pending for them. In his strategy, Orlen assumes that he will have two BWRX-300 blocks to 2035.

The BWRX-300 belongs to the family of water-glowing reactors (BWR). At the same time, due to the relatively low power – 300 MWe – it is included in the so -called SMR – small modular reactors. The first such reactor is created for OPG at the Canadian Darlington nuclear power plant. (PAP)
