A Dacia 1300 used by the communist militia in Romania is sold in Germany. As far as the owner requires

For several weeks, on one of the most sought after sales sites used and vintage in Germany-Mobile.de-a passionate Neamț collector has put up for sale a unique Dacia 1300 car, manufactured almost 50 years ago in the Dacia plant in Mioveni.

The unpublished Dacie was made in January 1976, and what is really out of print is that the car owned by the owner of Germany was used by Militia in Romania for almost 14 years, until December 1989. “It is an original police car that belonged to a true policeman from Romania. It is a vintage car with history”says the owner Neamț.
The car is offered for sale for the amount of 4,900 euros, has 54 horses, gasoline engine and 28,000 kilometers traveled so far.

One of the most popular cars ever manufactured in our country, the Dacia 1300 entered production at the Mioveni-Arges plant in 1969, during the same period in which the Dacia 1100 was produced. The major event of 1969 in the Romanian car industry was the commercial launch of the first models R12 produced in Romania under the name Dacia 1300. to be delivered popular car.
The Dacia 1300 model has enjoyed a great commercial success in both Romania and in several countries in Eastern Europe, where it has been exported since 1971.
Just a few months after the official launch on the market, the Dacia 1300, which was already considered a very cheap car, would be exported to countries in South America and Africa. And the Dacians 1300 Break and 1302 have been sold in thousands of copies in countries such as Poland, Egypt, Algeria, Czechoslovakia, Colombia or the German Democratic Republic.
As an example, in 1977, over 5,000 Dacia 1300 cars were exported to the RDG at the Mioveni factory.
As total statistics, the Dacia 1300 and all its derivatives, including the classic Dacia 1310, were produced in over 1.9 million units at the Mioveni plant between 1969-2004, for almost 35 years. Dacia 1300 came out of production in July 2004.
