Former Health Minister Adam Niedzielski with injuries was hospitalized – Dr. Mariusz Mioduski, medical director of the Provincial Hospital in Siedlce, told PAP. The police confirmed that on Wednesday in the city center of the former minister attacked two unknown perpetrators.
– around 15 in the area of one of the Siedlce restaurants in the city center there was an attack on a man. According to preliminary findings, he was attacked by two perpetrators – young asp. Barbara Jastrzębska from the Siedlce police.
The officer said that immediately after receiving the notification about the beating, a police patrol was directed, which took steps to determine the perpetrators. – All traces are secured and activities at the scene of the incident are underway – added the policewoman.

The victim was hospitalized.
The medical director of the Mazowieckie Provincial Hospital in Siedlce sp. Z OO Dr. Mariusz Mioduski confirmed in an interview with PAP that the victim is former health minister Adam Niedzielski. “These are not very serious injuries,” he said and added that it is very likely that the patient “will not qualify for hospitalization, but for now there is still diagnostics.”
As PAP found out, the attack may have a political background.
The case was commented by former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

In the years 2020–2023 Adam Niedzielski was the Minister of Health in the Morawiecki government.
