A Hollywood actor has opened a business in Russia, announces the Moscow press, who describes Steven Seagal as “Russian-American”

Russian-American actor Steven Seagal, known for his roles in Hollywood cult films, opened a business in Russia with his son, Dominic, slowly announces, one of the most popular news sites in Russia in an article entitled “An actor from Hollywood has opened a business in Russia.”

The last time Seagal played in American films was in 2019, when it appeared in General Commander and Beyond the lawtwo feature film that have a note 3.1, respectively 3.6 per IMDB. In fact, these are also the last films in which he has played.

According to the unique state register of the legal entities in Moscow, Seagal registered the limited liability company “Hikari” this Tuesday, August 26. “The document states that the company is specialized in consulting in the field of commercial activities and management,” says Russian media.

Entrepreneur Mihail Zamarin, a partner of Seagal in the business, told Telegram Mash channel that, in addition to sales, Hikari LLC will also take care of the dirty plastic recycling.

In August 2018, Russia appointed Seagal Special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow, with the role of “strengthening” the humanitarian links between the US and Russia, after two years before the American actor received a Russian passport from Vladimir Putin.

The 73-year-old actor, who was born in the city of Lansing in American state Michigan has repeatedly praised Russia since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine and was one of the few Western “celebrities” that participated in the inauguration of the fifth term of Putin's president in May 2024.

Seagal said in a propaganda documentary broadcast in October last year in occupied Ukrainian territories that he is ready to fight and “to die for my president”, Putin.

He was one of the participants in the Victorian Day parade organized this year in Russia to celebrate his victory in World War II. Another participant was the famous director Emir Kusturica.
