Mircea Lucescu, the former great Romanian footballer and coach, will be buried on Friday, April 10, at the Bellu Cemetery, in Bucharest, and GSP will provide all the information in real time. “Il Luce” died on April 7at the Bucharest University Hospital.
On April 8 and 9, Mircea Lucescu's lifeless body was laid to rest at the National Arena, where tens of thousands of people, including many from the world of football, came to pay their last respects to “Il Luce”.

Starting at 09:00, the movement of the funeral procession will take place from the National Arena to the Church of Sfântul Elefterie, on the following route: Str. Major Coravu – Sos. Mihai Bravu (returning to the Bright Hearth area) – Sos. Mihai Bravu – Piața Muncii – Bd. Decebal – Piața Alba Iulia – Bd. Unirii – Piața Unirii – Splaiul Independentiei – Piaţa Operaei – Bsreica Sfântul Elefterie.
At 10:00 a.m. the funeral service will be held at the Church of Saint Eleftherie, and starting at 12:00 p.m., the funeral procession from the Church of Saint Eleftherie to Bellu Cemetery will take place along the route: Piața Operei – Splaiul Independenții – Piața Unirii – Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir – Calea Șerban Vodă – Piața Eroii Revoluției – Bellu Cemetery, where the burial ceremony was taking place, starting at 12:45.
Recommended detour routes: -Mihai Bravu Highway – Ștefan cel Mare Highway – Victoriei Square; -Mihai Bravu Road – Pache Protopopescu Blvd – Carol I Blvd – University Square; -Calea 13 Septembrie – Bd. Tudor Vladimirescu – Viilor Road.
Considering the possibility of the participation of a large number of people, the Road Brigade will order measures to streamline traffic and prevent traffic accidents and requests motor vehicle drivers:

to respect the signals, indications and dispositions of the traffic policemen;

keep a sufficient distance to be able to brake safely;

to stop or park only in specially arranged places;

to keep calm and avoid the abusive use of sound signals in crowded areas;

reduce speed near groups of participants and avoid any behavior that may endanger road safety. Pedestrians are advised to move only on the sidewalks, to cross the street only through the specially arranged places and at the green color of the electric traffic light, after they have thoroughly ensured and convinced themselves that their intention to cross has been understood by the vehicle drivers.
