The youngest customers of PKO BP have reasons to be happy. The bank introduced a debit card directly related to the child's account. There are no fees for using the card, and parents can manage children's expenses in the IKO application or website.

The debit card to PKO Children's Account is directed to children between 6 and 12 years of age. It is related directly to the minor's account and allows contactless payments in terminals (without PIN up to PLN 30), withdrawals from ATMs and online payments. The child can choose a standard image of the card or a pattern from the gallery, including the Ekstraklasa clubs.

Card without fees under parental control

PKO BP does not charge fees for issuing a card, regardless of the chosen image. The youngest can use it for free, and they will not pay for payments from all ATMs in Poland and in the world, nor payments in the commercial. If a child wants to change the pattern on the card, for such an instruction the bank will collect PLN 15.

A parent or guardian will submit an application for a child's card in both IPKO online banking and in the IKO mobile application. An adult can manage a child's card, changing its limits, browsing the transaction history or reserving the card if necessary. A child on the PKO Junior service or application can view the card details and check the payments made.

Change a plus

The new debit card is directly related to the child's PKO account. This is a positive change, because until now the card for the youngest in PKO BP was issued for a separate bill, which was owned by a parent (the so -called PKO Junior card account). A PLN 15 fee was charged for its issue and resumption. If the child had both an account and a card, you had to be careful about what account to transfer the money, because the PKO Junior card was not assigned to the child's account. Currently, PKO BP issues cards directly to bills for the youngest.
