Zelanski-Putin meeting. Lavrov denies “speculation” and accuses the President of Ukraine


The head of Russian diplomacy emphasized that the topic of the meeting of both leaders was not raised during the summit in Anchorage in Alaska, where US presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin talked. According to Lavrov, this issue appeared later – after Trump's telephone conversation with Putin during the visit of the European delegation to Washington.

Lavrov criticizes Zelanski's approach. “De facto boss of the regime”
Lavrov pointed out that Moscow is ready for further talks in the Istanbul format and proposed to raise the rank of a delegation. – Putin said that the meeting of leaders must be very well prepared. There must be an agenda and it is not there Said Lavrov.
The Russian politician said that the Kremlin expected a possible peak to bring “real decisions”.
