Andrei Nicolescu, the president of Dinamo, has provided insights into the team’s transfer market activities.
Nicolescu stated that it is unlikely goalkeeper Devis Epassy, aged 33, will remain at Dinamo for the upcoming season. Epassy served as the team’s goalkeeper during the previous season.

Following the departure of coach Zeljko Kopic and the appointment of Nuno Campos as the new head coach, Dinamo is undergoing significant changes, including adjustments to its roster.
One player expected to leave the club is Devis Epassy. The Cameroonian goalkeeper joined Dinamo in the summer of 2025 and made 31 appearances for the team but is no longer part of Campos’s plans.
The transfer of goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch further indicates Epassy’s imminent exit, which has been confirmed by Nicolescu.
“Nuno wants a goalkeeper with strong footwork, and that’s why he sees Alaa Bellaarouch as ideal for our needs. I don’t believe Epassy will stay at Dinamo. We are just starting discussions to explore his options,” Nicolescu told primasport.ro.
Epassy started as the main goalkeeper in a recent friendly match against Motor Lublin, which Dinamo lost 1-3, where he experienced a challenging moment. In an incident in the box, he passed the ball to defender Matteo Duțu, who inadvertently scored an own goal when attempting to return the ball to Epassy.
During the last season, Epassy made 31 appearances, conceded 33 goals, and kept nine clean sheets.
Valued at €400,000 by transfermarkt.com, Epassy has previously played for clubs including Lorient, Rennes, Guijuelo, Avranches, Epinal, Levadiakos, Lamia, OFI Creta, Abha, and Karmiotissa.
Dinamo Secures Alaa Bellaarouch’s Transfer
The Moroccan goalkeeper joins the Superliga club with a purchase option at the end of the season, set at €500,000.
Bellaarouch has played 25 matches in Ligue 1 for Strasbourg, conceding 26 goals and maintaining two clean sheets. Notably, he saved a penalty from Kylian Mbappé during his Ligue 1 debut before making a significant error in a subsequent match, and is also valued at €400,000.
He is expected to compete with Alexandru Roșca for the starting goalkeeper position.
