In Krasnoyarsk, participants in the half marathon “Heat” added 35 thousand kilometers to the piggy bank “Choosing clean air”. This was told in the regional Ministry of Ecology.
4,147 people became participants in the large -scale race of the Krasmarathon. Athletes and lovers of different age categories fled distances from 1 to 21 kilometers. The event was also held in support of the All -Russian campaign “I choose clean air” – the drivers of the federal project “Clean Air” of the National Project “Environmental Welfare” and became part of the initiative to promote the idea of refusing gasoline, in favor of running, walking, bicycles, scooters and rollers.
Krasnoyarsk Anastasia and Margarita – mother and daughter, participated in the “Heat” marathon for the first time. It is believed that such events in support of ecology are extremely important for a beloved city.
“Preservation of the environment for future generations should be an integral part of everyone's life. I believe that such actions not only help improve the environmental situation in our city, but also unite people, giving them the opportunity to spend time in the fresh air and get a charge of vivacity and energy, ”said Anastasia.
In two days of the marathon, the participants ran and passed 34,947 pure kilometers. The longest distance – 21 kilometers – 1073 people ran. 200 young athletes (under 6 years old) took part in the race at 500 meters.
The All -Russian campaign “I choose clean air” this year also held in Minusinsk, Achinsk, Norilsk and Lesosibirsk. Participants fixed kilometers record with the help of “ecotrequer of green habits”-a convenient chatbot on the VKontakte social network. The organizers will summarize the results of the action on September 7.
