Gas prices in Europe go slightly down after completing a strong growth last week – by 8 percent. – the brokers inform.

Benchmark gas contracts in Amsterdam (Ice Entawex Dutch TTF) reduce by 1.3 percent. The price of gas in Amsterdam is currently 33.13 euros per MWh.
Investors are waiting for new signals regarding the prospects of the supply of this fuel, as well as progress in the process of ending the war in Ukraine.
Recent talks of US President Donald Trump with other politicians – from Russia, Ukraine and Europe, initially aroused optimism in the markets as to the possibility of a close peace agreement in Ukraine, and this led to a decrease in gas prices in Europe to the lowest level this year.
However, in last week, gas prices have reflected again, because the progress in the potential peace process is slow.

Meanwhile, the US Vice President JD Vance said in an interview with NBC News that despite the apparent lack of progress since the meeting of Donald Trump with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, the US administration still has a chance to mediate in bringing peace between Ukraine and Russia.
As Vance pointed out in the “Meet The Press” program, Trump's team believes that “we have already experienced some significant concessions on both sides, only in the last few weeks”.
Asked if he thinks the Russians deceive Trump, Vance strongly denied.
Meanwhile, in Europe, natural gas supplies are growing before the upcoming heating season in the region – in EU warehouses they amount to 75.6 percent. In relation to the 5-year average for this time at 83.3 percent.
The European magazines currently contain 859.29 TWH gas – according to the calculations of GAS Infrastructure Europe. (PAP Biznes)
