Motorcyclist bitten by bear when he was waiting in the column, on Transfagărășan

A 73 -year -old foreign citizen was bitten by a bear on Saturday, on Transfăgărășan, in the Stan Valley area of Argeș county, when he was stopped in the column due to the crowds, according to the police, reports News.ro.
The Alba County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) says that the Albești de Argeș Rural Police Section was informed on Saturday that a motorcyclist was bitten by a bear, on DN 7C – Transfăgărăşan, near Arefu commune, in Valea lui Stan.
“From the preliminary checks carried out, it was established that a 73-year-old man, a foreign citizen, while moving with a motorcycle in the direction of Vidraru Dam-Curtea de Argeş, stopped on the road, in the column, because of the crowded traffic. At that time, a bear on the road,”
A medical crew went to the scene to give you care. The motorcyclist, who suffered a wound scratched at the right foot, refused to be taken to the hospital.
Police recommend to people circulating on Transfăgărășan to show caution and avoid the approach of wild animals.
