In the Russian Federation they will begin to check the cell numbers tied to public services. This was reported by TASS with reference to the event plan approved by the government.
The cell numbers of Russians tied to information systems that provide socially significant digital services will be checked for relevance. If the number does not belong to the indicated person already belong, they will be released from the account.
Minzifres, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, Roskomnadzor and the FSB, instructed to solve this problem. The deadline is the fourth quarter of 2026. The authorities expect that this will help to deal with the attackers of access to other people's accounts.
