PNL spokesman, deputy Ionuț Stroe, warned on Saturday that Russian propaganda is trying to undermine the Strategic Partnership Romania – Sua through false narratives meant to erode Romania's confidence in state institutions.

“In the last days, the propaganda of political misinformation has flooded the public space with toxic narratives on Romania with the United States. Their care shows three essential things:
1. There is a systematic campaign meant to decredibility of the Strategic Partnership Romania – Sua.
2. It is trying to irritate the Romanian public opinion towards America, relying on emotions and suspicions.

The PNL deputy also gave some examples of misinformation that appeared in the public space.
