An explosion at a fireworks in the city of Pakistani Karachi killed four people and injured over 30 Thursday, the police said, Reuters reported.
The warehouse and some nearby stores caught fire after the initial explosion, which was followed by several smaller explosions, forcing the inhabitants to run.
“I thought they had exploded several bombs,” Aqib Khan reporters told the area in the area.
The impact of the explosion was strong enough that it broke the windows of the shops in the neighborhood, spreading glass chips on the people on the street.

At least 34 injured were admitted to hospitals, said Summaiya Tariq, police representative, adding that four of them died during the night.
Dension was rising from a multi-storey building, while firefighters were trying to extinguish the fire, they showed local news channels. There are no indications on the cause of the explosion.
The images transmitted by the local television channel Geo News, filmed by surveillance cameras, showed people running to shelter and drivers returning their cars.
The explosion took place one day after the intense monsoon rains flooded the city.
Karachi is the financial capital of Pakistan and has over 20 million inhabitants.
