PNL moves after PSD. The decision taken by the party, pending Monday's vote of the Social Democrats

The PNL established the first step after the PSD meeting on Monday, from 17:00, in which, according to HotNews sources, the social democrats are going to withdraw their political support to the prime minister. The Liberals will meet in a meeting on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Parliament, according to HotNews' political sources.

Tuesday's meeting of the PNL is one of the National Political Bureau (BPN), the party's leadership forum.

Unlike the usual meetings of this forum, on Tuesday the party parliamentarians, the PNL mayors of the municipalities and the presidents of the County Councils from the liberal side were called to take part in the meeting, according to HotNews sources.

The meeting of the liberals will take place in Parliament, just like the PSD meeting on Monday. PNL leaders will meet at the PNL group in Parliament, according to HotNews sources.

During the meeting, the PNL will establish the next steps in the context in which the PSD will decide that it no longer wants to continue governing with Ilie Bolojan.

PSD decides on Monday whether to break the Coalition

Approximately 5,000 PSD members will vote, on April 20, whether or not they will withdraw their political support for Prime Minister Bolojan in the consultation that Sorin Grindeanu first announced more than 5 months ago, at the beginning of December. The details of how the consultation will be conducted have also been established.

PSD leaders expect the vote to be overwhelmingly in favor of withdrawing Bolojan's support.

Then, if after the withdrawal of political support the prime minister will not resign until the Government meeting that usually takes place on Thursday, one of the main scenarios taken into account by the social democrats is the withdrawal of the ministers from the Government, not the secretaries of state or the prefects.

PSD leaders have started posting messages on Facebook counting the days until they will vote in the internal referendum where they will vote if the party continues with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. “Enough. That's it. In 3 days I vote at the moment of truth”, that's how the social democrats' messages sound.

On the Facebook pages of several PSD members, as well as on those of organizations in the country, messages appeared announcing the internal consultation that will take place next Monday, on April 20.

Then, almost 5,000 social democrats will decide whether or not to maintain their political support for Prime Minister Bolojan.

“Enough. Until here. In 3 days I vote at the moment of truth. From all over the country. With one voice,” the social democrats send to the voters.
