The extreme meteorological phenomena that manifested themselves on Sunday affected 14 localities from Alba, Arad, Botosani, Hunedoara, Suceava and Vâlcea counties, a special situation being registered in the town of Broşteni, Suceava county, where two streams came out of Matcă, needing the intervention of the firefighters.

At the level of the six counties, the firefighters intervened to evacuate the water from a house, two courts and a street, to release the construction elements from two buildings, as well as for the release of eight trees and five collapsed pillars, being damaged two vehicles, IGSU says.

Significant effects were registered in Suceava county, Broşteni, where two persons were intervened, as a result of the exit of the Dârmoxa stream and the Black stream (tributaries of the Bistriţa river). Also, as a result of the exit of the Dârmoxa stream, a person from the town of Dârmoxa was surprised by the flood. The operative crews made sustained efforts, and the person was safely recovered, the source quoted.

The Suceava firefighters intervene to evacuate the water from several houses, courtyards and cellars/basements, and in the dispatcher ISUJ SV are waiting about 200 calls from the citizens.

At the same time, on DN 17B, in the area of Broşteni, the road traffic is stopped due to rainwater and alluviums from the slopes, on the road. Specialized teams are in the field to remedy the situation and resume road traffic in the shortest time, IGSU reports.
