

The service noted that on August 20, Iranian President Masud Cyzeshkin came to Minsk and his conversation with Lukashenko formally concerned trade, investment, industrial projects and cooperation in the field of science and education, as well as coordination in various international organizations.
“However, the real agenda differed from official statements. For Tehran, the key issue was the possibility of restoring air defense and electronic warfare systems that were seriously damaged during the recent war with Israel. Belarus, unlike Russia, is less limited by sanctions in the military-technical sphere and may become a channel to restore the defense capacities of Iran,” the Service of Service explained.
According to her, Tehran is also interested in resolving an acute deficiency of electrogenation and agricultural equipment, and for Minsk there are prospects in these areas.
“Iran plans to use Belarus as another channel for access to suction products,” the SVR emphasized.
