The proposal includes not only testing, but also the possibility of checking the conditions of cohabitation. It is also planned to collect evidence of the reality of marriage through a survey of neighbors, friends and relatives of the couple.
“The measure will help at the early stage to discover the illegal stay of foreigners in Russia and will not allow the use of fictitious marriages to legalize followers of radical religious directions,” the OM1 Novosibirsk document quoted.
