The reserve external power supply line of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant “Ferrosplavnaya-1” with a capacity of 330 kV was disconnected on February 10, the station is currently using an external power supply line.
The IAEA team, permanently located at the Zaporizhia NPP, continues to request detailed information about the nature and extent of the damage, the report says. The agency emphasizes that for several years they have not had access to the station seized by the Russian Federation.
“The IAEA stands ready to communicate accurately the nature of the damage and its possible implications for nuclear safety and security,” Grossi said.
The timing of the necessary repairs is not yet known.
