The Dutch referee would have been in touch with a Turkish professional parior and there were suspicions that Gözübüyük was bribed to arrange two or three matches in the second league in the Netherlands.
The “Dutch central”, then 29 years old, said that it was involved in the alleged criminal network. “I am shocked that my name is mentioned in this context of someone I do not know and that it is so easy for such a person to affect someone's public image, ”said Gözübüyük for the quoted publication.
