On the night of August 20, on the corn field in the area of the village of Osina in the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland, the object fell and exploded, which is why the windows knocked out in nearby houses. People were not injured. The Polish Ministry of Defense stated that it could be a drone.
“We are again dealing with a provocation from the Russian Federation using a Russian drone. This happens at a critical moment when negotiations are underway about the world when there is a hope for the end of the war declared by Russia to the Ukrainian state, which simultaneously threatens the security of NATO countries,” he said.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Poland drew attention to the multiplicity of such provocations.
“Eight air violations and provocative attacks of seedlings were committed on the territory of Moldova, three times on the territory of Romania, three times on the territory of Lithuania and twice on the territory of Latvia. These are exclusively incidents associated with drones. This time the provocation concerns Poland,” he emphasized.
Deputy Operational Commander of the Armed Forces of Poland, General Dariusz Malinovsky, said that the drone-Primanka flew into Poland, he has no warhead, but is equipped with explosives for self-destruction.
“Group groups carry out intensive work on the search for the remaining fragments of this drone. This drone was designed in such a way that it was very difficult to detect. Probably, it flew very low to avoid our radars. To date, we can only provide this information,” the Polish Ministry of Defense quotes.
Poland Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorsky said on the social network X that the Foreign Ministry “would express a protest of the offender.”
“The next violation of our airspace from the east confirms that the most important mission of Poland in NATO is to protect its own territory,” the diplomat wrote.
Kolejne naruszenie naszej przestrzeni powietrznej ze wschodu Potwierdza, że najważniejszą polski wobec nato jest ostrona naszego własnegogo TERYTORIUM.

The representative of the Poland Foreign Ministry Pavel Vronsky informed the TVN24 television channel that Warsaw addressed Russia a note of protest as a “standard action in a similar situation.” The note contained a “description of the incident, protest and a call to refrain from such behavior.”
Vronsky emphasized that such notes of protest of the Russian Federation have already been issued, but in Moscow “they do not recognize the landing of any objects in the Polish territory.”
