The Warsaw Stock Exchange welcomed the first dividend ETF, which will pay its participants once a quarter. The fund imitates the Wigdivplus index, and its supplier is Beta EFT.

On August 18, the first dividend ETF in Poland called Beta ETF Dividend Plus debuted at the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The fund reflects the composition of the WIGDIVPLUS index and will pay the net profit to its participants quarterly. The first payment is scheduled for March 2026.
The new product is now available in the brokerage house. By June 30, 2026, the management fee will be 0%. All other fund costs are to close at 0.5% per annum.

From June 30, 2026, the management fee will be 0.5%, and the remaining costs will depend on the size of the fund, but as Beta EFT declares, they will not exceed 0.4% per annum (e.g. with assets of PLN 100 million, they will amount to about 0.2% per year).
The WIGDIVPlus index, on which the new dividend ETF is based, includes companies from WIG20, MWIG40 and SWIG80 indexes that meet certain criteria. WSE Benchmark updates it at the end of each year and includes companies whose dividend rate was not lower than 2%.

The second criterion is the regularity of payments. Companies included in Wigdivplus must share a minimum of three years in a row or four times in the last five years with shareholders. Currently, there are 52 companies in the index. Pekao, Orlen, Santander and PZU, occupying about 43% of the wallet, have the largest share in it.
According to the data presented by the creators of ETF, the dividend rate in the last 10 years would be 3-6%, and most often 5-6% per year. This should be deducted from this, i.e. 0.5% during the promotion or 0.9% after its completion. As Maciej Samcik, the creator of the blog, subjectively about finances, the disadvantage of the new ETF is the fact that investors will have to pay tax on their dividends.
Beta ETF Dividend Plus is the twelfth stock exchange fund in the Beta ETF offer – brand of investment funds that were created in cooperation with the Beta Investment Funds and Agiofunds TFI Society. An animator and coordinator is the BOŚ Brokerage House.
