Heritage increases the identity feeling and can bring money into the community. Education is needed in the sense of conservation, visibility at the broadest level, this leading to the correct restoration of the buildings historical monuments. The solutions that the specialists see regarding the less popular Romanian localities between tourists are the guided tours to target the architectural and industrial heritage and the cultural, artistic programs, all of whom is meant to attract visitors. By increasing the tourist value of the city, investments also increase.
A case is represented by Câmpulung Muscel, the first capital of the Romanian Country, but also an education center in the 19th century. Appreciated as “the largest neo -Romanian architecture site”, many buildings must be rehabilitated, but the lack of funds for these operations and bureaucracy are impediments. As in many parts of the country.
However, not interferent on most buildings is a better thing than a wrong renovation, without vision and with low quality materials. Conservation from inertia is a chance for the correct restoration of buildings in Campulung. They are safely put, which offers them a break for several years.
