The actor Landa Stamp died at 87. He earned his celebrity with the roles in the “Superman” series

The British actor Landa Stammp, known for his roles in “Superman” and “Priscila, Regina Desert”, died on Sunday at the age of 87, his family announced for the United Kingdom, informs international press agencies, quoted by Reuters.
Stamp died on Sunday morning, his family said in a statement.
“He leaves behind an extraordinary work, both as an actor and as a writer, who will continue to excite people for many years,” his family wrote.
After becoming known as a prominent figure in the Swinging Sixties Cultural Revolution, Land Stammp also played the role in “Superman”, as well as in films directed by Pasolini (“Theorem”) and Ken Loach.
Among the remarkable roles made towards the end of the career are the one in “Valkyrie” (2009), a film directed by Bryan Singer, in which he performed the role of General-Colonel Ludwig Beck.
Then he played roles in two films made by Tim Burton: “Big Eyes” (2014) and “Miss Peregrine's Home for PECULARY CHILDREN” (2016).
