Ally of Vladimir Putin convicted. I don't want to give up power

One of the most loyal allies of Russia in the Balkans is the Serbian Republic. This is the autonomous part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 90 percent residents of this area (1.2 million people) are Serbs. The current status of the Serbian Republic is regulated by a peace agreement with Dayton, which ended the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992–1995). However, the Republic led by Milorad Dodika strives for secession and joining Serbia. The internal conflict in the country has exacerbated after the court in Sarajevo, he legally ordered Dodik to resign from office.
As Balkansinsight writes, Dodik signed a decree under which two laws came into force. The first blocked the execution of the judgments of the Constitutional Tribunal of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Serbian Republic. The second one changed the rules for publishing legal acts, which was aimed at strengthening autonomous offices at the expense of central power. Earlier, both legal acts were repealed by the High UN representative as contrary to Dayton agreements.

Milorad Dodik does not recognize the judgment of the court
A violation of the law by a Serbian politician was dealt with by a court in Sarajevo. Dodik was found guilty of a crime at first instance. However, he appealed against the decision. The Court of Appeal upheld the judgment and sentenced Dodik to payment of over 18 thousand. euro fines, 6 years of ban on performing public functions and submitting ex officio.
Dodik announced that he was not going to subordinate the court's decision. The sentence commented in a series of entries on the X platform. “What if I refuse to give up and resignation do not exist. Submission is not an option. This is another crease from Sarajevo,” Serbian wrote in social media.
He added that he got a mandate from the hands of the nation, which is why the politician announced the organization of the referendum on the resignation, which is to take place “in the near future”. However, he did not provide more specifics.
