Marian Aioani, a goalkeeper of the Rapid, has lost the position of holder in favor of Franz Stolz and wants to leave, but there are no concrete offers for him. In order to cover the post, the Giulestii have a book of Veteran Florin Niță (38 years), former champion with FCSB and “Romanian footballer” in 2021, a contract free after the separation of Damac, reports GSP.ro on Friday.

Marian Aioani (25 years old) signed a contract with Rapid in January 2024, but, with Costel Gâlcă's arrival, the goalkeeper lost the holder in front of the Austrian Franz Stolz.

When he brought it from the Lighthouse, Rapid paid 400,000 euros, and Gică Hagi's team kept 15% of a possible future transfer. Aioani has only been unused reserve since the beginning of this season.

Dissatisfied with his new status, Marian Aioani began the “negotiations” behind the scenes with the Giulesti officials for a possible departure. “Only for money, otherwise it is excluded,” his businessman said after the discussions with the heads of the Rapid.

The Sports Gazette wrote the other days that Aioani insists on leaving as soon as possible, but at this moment there are no concrete offers on his behalf.

If Aioani would leave, and the Giulesti would fulfill his wish, the officials from Giulești should quickly bring another goalkeeper, because they would have to rely only on Adrian Briciu (18 years).

The list of Giulesti appears, as a transfer variant, a veteran of the post of goalkeeper, former champion of Romania with FCSB and a basic man in the past for the national team: Florin Niță (38 years), free of contract after expiring the agreement with Lamac. It was about to sign a new extension, but the negotiations failed, writes gsp.ro.
