More than 9 thousand times fraudsters tried to get through to a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The digital ecosystem of MTS analyzed the number of calls from spammers and scammers to residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the first half of the year.

In total, for the first 6 months of 2025, the antispam-solution of MTS “Defender” fenced residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory from 26 million unwanted challenges. If all these conversations took place, then the Krasnoyarsk would spend almost 12 years on them.

Most often, banks and financial organizations, advertising and polls, as well as collectors, annoyed the region’s subscribers. Possible scammers also got into the TOP anti-rating and are located on the 8th line.

The most attacking subscriber was a resident of the region to whom they tried to get through almost 9.5 thousand times. These attempts were blocked by a smart system.

“Modern scammers constantly come up with new ways of deception, and sometimes even vigilant people come across their tricks. In response to this, mobile operators develop protective mechanisms. In particular, the “safe call” technology in real time evaluates the conversation and, with a threat of fraud, immediately notifies the subscriber with a voice, ”explains Sergey Egishin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
