“Madness advances.” Moment of helplessness in the Kremlin: Putin was put in difficulty in front of his officers

Vladimir Putin tried to encourage several officers of the Russian army with a shout, but his voice betrayed him twice – first while sitting, then as he stood up.

A new viral video shows an embarrassing moment for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This video again caused a wave of jokes and questions about the physical condition of the Russian leader. The footage clearly shows how an attempt to shout a battle call failed, in the presence of several officers.

The bizarre video was published by Serhiy Sternenko, adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, with the following comment:

“Putin could not shout 'hate'. Madness progresses”Sternenko wrote in his message.

The incident took place on Friday, May 22, during a public speech.

Putin tries to loudly shout “Hooray!”, but he can't. At first he manages to utter the exclamation while sitting in a chair, and when he stands up he completely loses his voice. The officers in the hall jumped to his aid, covering the helplessness of the Russian dictator with their voices.

The recording was originally published by Russian propaganda media. But when the video went viral and the pranks started, it was removed from social media.

Reactions on the Internet

Some netizens could hardly refrain from joking about Putin's age, which did not allow him to speak out loud. Many have suggested that such behavior is the consequence of an illness or a stroke, Informtor notes

The Russian dictator tries to project an invincible image, and a large part of this image is to cover up any health problems. Analyst Stephen Hutchings warned that those expecting to see Putin in poor health could be disappointed – he has learned to manage speculation about his health for more than a decade.

But the evidence in the video is hard to ignore: Putin, according to observations, moves with caution and restraint, and the image of a “strong leader” cracks, along with a visibly hunched posture.

And images of Putin's arrival in China have sparked ironies on the Internet, with some observers pointing to the Kremlin dictator's dependence on Beijing in his walk and posture.

There are discussions on social networks about the video of Putin's welcome to Beijing by Xi Jinping. The visit itself came against the backdrop of Moscow's attempts to secure new economic and energy deals with China.

Some observers noted Putin's movements and body language. He looked awkward next to the Chinese leader, keeping his head bowed, not making eye contact and sitting half a step behind.
