Gently with spinach for such diseases. Find out to whom this healthy greens can harm

Spinach is considered one of the most useful vegetables due to the high content of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. But, despite all his benefits, he can pose a threat to health if it is incorrectly stored or consumed in excessive quantities.

First of all, spinach contains nitrates – natural substances that turn into nitrites during long -term storage or re -heating. It is nitrites that can be toxic for the body, especially for children and people with a sensitive digestive system.

Another important point is the content of oxalic acid. It can bind calcium in the body, which contributes to the formation of kidney stones. That is why people with urolithiasis or a tendency to form stones should be careful with frequent use of spinach.

It is also not recommended to use spinach for gout and some diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, since it can aggravate the symptoms.

Experts advise not to store the cooked spinach for more than a day and avoid repeated warming up, and children under three years old do not give spinach dishes at all that underwent heat treatment in advance. It is better to use spinach fresh and not exceed the recommended norm-no more than two to three times a week in moderate quantities.
