The furniturer from Krasnoyarsk deceived customers by 1.7 million rubles and fell under the investigation

The furniturer from Krasnoyarsk will appear before the trial for the deceit of his customers for more than 1.7 million rubles. This was reported in the regional police.

During the preliminary investigation, it was found that a 39-year-old man was engaged in the production and installation of cabinet furniture. However, at a certain moment he had financial difficulties. From the end of 2022 to 2024, the master received orders from citizens who contacted him on the recommendation of common acquaintances, took an advance payment from them, and then transferred the delivery date or disappeared.

Three residents of Krasnoyarsk suffered from unlawful actions of the furniture. The victims of deception turned to law enforcement officers for help.

The man did not deny his involvement in the deed. Currently, the materials of the criminal case, initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed by a person using his official position, as well as on a large amount), were sent to the court for consideration on the merits.

It is known that earlier the furniture master was not prosecuted, he has no criminal record.
