An event announced on Facebook calls Nicușor Dan's supporters at a rally on Sunday in Victoriei Square. As the organizer of the demonstration “Romania in light”, Nicușor Dan appears, who calls those who believe in “honest, right and European Romania”.
“In a moment of compassion for Romania, we gather to show that we have reliable resources, courage and hope. We must make our common confidence visible in justice, prosperity, honesty, in European values. This meeting is not about a man, but about what kind of country we want to be,” Nicușor Dan wrote on the event.
The mayor of the capital asks the participants to come dressed in white, as a symbol of supporting European values.
“Come with me and all those who believe in honest, right and European Romania! Come on white! Bring your friends! Come with the battery of the phone!
The manifestation organized by him occurs after, on Friday, on the Day of Europe, another pro-European demonstration took place, with tens of thousands of participants.
They gathered in the University Square, after which they went to the Victoriei Square. The organizers estimated that the maximum number of participants was somewhere between 40,000 and 50,000.

If the Simion-Georgescu camp has carried out several massive demonstrations in winter and spring, on Friday it was for the first time that the pro-European protesters went out in such a large number. Pro-European meetings also took place in Timișoara, Brașov, Iași and Oradea.
